Market Place 2009

It’s Christmas already at Market Place 2009 presented by the Junior League of Macon. Start your holiday shopping and support literacy and school readiness in Macon, GA at the same time. Market Place 2009 celebrates its 21st year with 68 vendors in Downtown Macon, Georgia at the Macon City Auditorium. Admission is $5 and children under 12 get in free. Here are the events taking place at Market Place this year:

  • Coffee & Cake with Mark Ballard: Friday, October 23 at 10:00 am on stage – FREE EVENT
  • Daily Mark Ballard Demonstrations: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 on stage – FREE EVENT
  • Mike Fuller, The Magician – Sat, Oct. 24 at 3:00 or 4:00 – Enjoy magic & decorate a sugar cookie! Tickets at the Jr. League booth – $10 per person
  • Character Breakfast: Saturday, October 24 at 9:00 – Dine with Cinderella, Spiderman, Snow White, Batman, Dorothy, a pirate, ballerinas, a race card driver, Belle, Ms. Cinnabun, The Cat in the Hat and Santa! Downstairs in the event room.  IF tickets are still available, purchase at Jr. League booth – $30 for one parent and one child.
    Each additional person is $5 up to two. Includes a FREE GA Chip ID Kit!
  • Character Lunch: Saturday, October 24 at 12:30 – see info above
  • Artist & Author Walk – FREE EVENT all day Saturday and Sunday
  • Visit the Jr. Booth near the stage for:Wreath Sale, Famous JLM Casserole Sale

  • Saturday at 11:30 am – author Rachel Veal
  • Sunday – author Arrin Freeman
